Louisa Dowling, ARNP

Louisa Leano Dowling, ARNP-C, joined the staff of Digestive Disease Clinic in August 2003. As she comes from a family of medical professionals, her passion for nursing began at an early age. Her clinical background includes specialties in Neurology, Wound Care and Nutrition Support that fundamentally provided her with an interest in gastroenterology. Today, she has developed and nurtured a caring relationship with her patients through which she finds fulfillment in knowing that she has made a positive difference in their lives.

Dowling relocated to Tallahassee from New York in 1980. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Florida State University. She completed post-graduate education and holds certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is married and has one child. Her interests include her family, dance, reading and martial arts.

Male Registered Nurse — Todd Chenicek in Tallahassee, FL

Todd Chenicek, ARNP

Todd Chenicek, ARNP-C, joined the staff of the Digestive Disease Clinic in 2005. Born in Chicago, Mr. Chenicek grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida. In 1989 he moved to Tallahassee to attend Florida State University, receiving Bachelor of Science degrees in Biological Sciences and Nursing. From 1996 to 2005, he worked as a Registered Nurse in the Neurological Intensive Care Unit at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. In 2004, continuing his studies, Mr. Chenicek received a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Florida State University; shortly thereafter he was certified as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP-C) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Mr. Chenicek is married with two children. When he is not working, he particularly enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, reading, woodworking, photography and the outdoors.

Angela Smith, ARNP

Angela Smith, ARNP-C, joined the staff at Digestive Disease Clinic in August 2016. Born in Winter Park, Florida, Mrs. Smith grew up in Jupiter, Florida. In 2004, she moved to Tallahassee, Florida to pursue her studies in nursing. In 2006, she received her LPN from Lively Technical College, in 2008 she received her ADN from Chipola College, in 2011 she received her BSN from Chipola College and in 2016 she received her Master of Science Degree in Nursing from Florida A & M University. From 2008 to 2016, she worked as a Registered Nurse on various medical surgical units at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Smith is certified as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP-C) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Ron Lindquist PA-C

I was born and raised in Thomasville, GA. I currently reside in Boston, GA with my wifeNicki. I graduated from Medical college of GA in 2002 with honors. I spent the first 12 years of my career infamily practice. I have been practicing GI medicine for the last 11 years. I enjoy all outdoor activities includingfishing, hunting, gardening and more importantly, spending time with my wife.

Rachel Oliver, ARNP

Rachel Oliver is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner that graduated with honors from the University of South Alabama in 2021. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Valdosta State University.

Rachel Oliver is passionate about promoting preventive healthcare strategies while incorporating individualized, evidence-based approaches tailored for each patient. She believes that educating her patients on health promotion, disease prevention and management will ultimately empower her patients with the knowledge and understanding of their disease and its necessary management so they may take ownership of their health and well-being.

When she is not working with Digestive Disease Clinic she enjoys hiking, camping, spending time with her family and working in the children’s ministry at her church.

 Cristina Dubbert PA-C

Cristina Dubbert PA-C, joined the staff of Digestive Disease Clinic in Feburary 2024. She completed herundergraduate degree at Florida State University and returned to the area after completing Masters of MedicalSciences at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Myers. In 2020 Cristina worked as Physician Assistant andSub-Investigator in clinical trials targeting treatment options for patients with Fatty Liver. Today, she continuesto focus on patient communication and education. She is married, has two dogs, and her interests include herfamily, reading and travel.

Nickisha Joyce PA-C

Nickisha Joyce PA-C is a board certified physician assistant and joined the staff of Digestive Disease Clinic in January 2024. Nickisha is Jamaican but has been a Floridian for most of her life. She attended Florida International University in Miami where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics and Nutrition. Following graduation from FIU,she attained her Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies, graduating with honors from Nova Southeastern University - Orlando. She has years of experience in surgery working in the operating room prior to starting in gastroenterology. 

 Mrs. Joyce is married and enjoys international traveling with her husband. She is also an avid reader and loves reading fiction novels.

Meghan Cunningham APRN

Meghan Cunningham APRN-C joined the staff of Digestive Disease in April 2024. She was born and raised in Tallahassee and is committed to serving the community through nursing. In 2019 she graduated from Tallahassee  Community College with her ADN, in 2020 she graduated with her BSN from the University of West Florida, and in 2023 she received her Master's of Science Degree from Valdosta State University. From 2019-2021 she worked as a bedside cardiology nurse at TMH while navigating through the global pandemic. In 2021 she began working as an endoscopy nurse at Tallahassee Endoscopy Center which began her transition into gastroenterology. Mrs. Cunningham is certified as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN-C) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
She is married to her high school sweetheart. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, baking, and tending to her home and garden.
